It’s Not Just Body Confidence, It’s Self-Perception

The mind and body work in partnership with each other. The state of your mind will manifest in your body, and similarly, the way you treat your body will affect the mind. It’s a synchronised relationship.

Part of feeling better from within, was dedicating time to working on my physical health. The way I ate, my physical activity and my general appearance. It’s a journey I’m still venturing, because it’s a lifelong commitment. As long as we’re alive, we have a responsibility towards our health.

Forget the worlds standards. Deep down, you know if you’re looking after yourself – or not. It’s a journey that takes real time and real effort so throw the deadlines out the window because as long as you don’t quit, change eventually comes.

When you work to improve your health, you’ll boost your overall morale. You’ll have more energy, and if you dedicate yourself to regular physical activity, the endorphins will do wonders for your state of mind.

If you suffer from a mental health related disorder, you’ll notice significant improvement as I have with PMDD. I can promise you, there’s no perfect time to begin, so just begin. A year from starting, you’ll be amazed and glad you did.

My blog posts are listed below. To get you started and encouraged, here’s a video of my own journey. Whenever you feel like throwing in the towel, I encourage you to come back and watch it again.
